The Next Big Thing! Natalie Dae

My gratitude to fellow author, Lily Harlem, for inviting me to participate in this event. Lily and I know each other very well, intimately if you like, but not in the literal sense, in the authorly sense! But as you don't know her as well as me you can click the following link to learn more about Lily and her books.

Lily's website.

In this blog hop, my fellow authors and I, in our respective blogs, have answered ten questions about our current book or work-in-progress (giving you a sneak peek). We've also included some behind-the-scenes information about how and why we write what we write--the characters, inspirations, plotting and other choices we make. I hope you enjoy it!

Please feel free to comment and share your thoughts and questions. Here is my Next Big Thing!

1: What was the working title of your book?

It started out as Good Cop, Bad Cop and stayed that way. It made it easy to write the characters. Jose is easygoing, lighter hearted, where as Dillon is the brooding, dangerous one!

2: Where did the idea come from for the book?

It started off with just one chapter, about a famous actress being stalked, running for her life and ending up on a boat with a couple of hunky police officers who are trying to have a vacation. The plot just kind of grew from there, the twists and turns weaving themselves in and around and erupting in a whole glut of sexy, menage a trois goodness!

3: What genre does your book come under?

Erotic romance!

4: Which actors would you choose to play your characters in a movie rendition?

Mmm, well Dillon, not an actor, a model, Francis Cura, the guy on the cover of the book giving you those  'come to bed if you dare' eyes. And Jose, perhaps Henry Cavill. Lily thinks that man is cute as a button and hot as hell!

5: What is the one-sentence synopsis of your book?

Two determined men, one feisty woman, out at sea and grabbing what pleasure they can before the shit hits the fan!

6: Is your book self-published, published by an independent publisher, or represented by an agency?

Self published on Amazon. Amazon US Amazon UK

7: How long did it take you to write the first draft of your manuscript?

About three months.

8: What other books would you compare this story to within your genre?

Mmm, perhaps the other books I've written with Lily.

9: Who or what inspired you to write this book?

An appreciation of sexy men and wanting to tell their story when they see a woman they just can't resist, no matter what else she has going on in her life and who she is to millions of fans.

10: What else about your book might pique a reader’s interest?

Some of the 5* reviews...

I really enjoyed this story of a scared and lonely country singer who quite by accident drops into the lives of two sexy cops on vacation. Just when she needs them they are there for her.
Such a sweet story with a perfect amount of suspense to keep you guessing til the end! Oh and the HEAT factor is off the charts!

I Highly recommend this! It had a little mystery, a little excitement and a whole lot of steamy scenes! I thoroughly enjoyed the story. It was awesome!!

OMG! This book by Lily Harlem and Natalie Dae was amazingly hot! I loved the story and loved the chemistry between India Moore, Dillon and Jose. India is a country & western singer being stalked and she finally finds herself on the run. She ends up on a boat of two vacationing sexy cops - Dillon and Jose. I do love a good menage story and this story had everything I liked in it. Oh my the three of them together in the villa - hot off the charts. Lily and Natalie did another amazing job of telling the story. I could visualize with such clarity. I love reading their work. I highly recommend this book for the little menage freak in you.

Great story about one lucky lady and two hunky guys. The story was really gripping and I really felt sorry for India as she was so frightened but she found luck when she found safety on a boat which just happened to be owned by two hunky cops who came to her rescue, but not after being handcuffed and treated a little roughly first, especially by Mr Moody cop Dillon.

Didn't know what to expect, and I'll be honest, I don't tend to fantasise about some of the things described in this book, but damn! That was so hot!
