Jambrea Jo Jones in USA Today!

The ink is still wet on the pages of USA Today, and author Jambrea Jo Jones graces one of those very pages. It’s got to be one of the highlights of an author’s life to make it into such a high-profile place, and, from what I’ve seen from snooping into Jambrea’s career and, well, downright stalking her along her journey, she’s worked diligently and consistently to be where she is today. Without further ado, let’s ask her how she feels, shall we, on the day she made it into USA Today. I have a feeling she may be super giddy…

Hi, Jambrea! Sit on my couch and tell me, how are you feeling right now?

I'm super excited!!! Had to call my mom.

LOL! I bet you did! What are your goals for 2013?

PWOAR!
For 2013 I just want to write more. I want to finish my first full-length gay romance. Most of them are not print length on their own. I also want to finish my Marine series—this is a straight romance, military suspense, and I want to write my first erotic horror. Um...my list is pretty long. lol

Oh, this pleases us greatly. We have much dancing going on here. High-heeled shoes, the lot. Do you have any new series planned for us greedy readers, who like to gobble up your words like a fresh and vibrant dessert, the flavours of which burst on our tongues and make us close our eyes in sublime delight?

Let's have some of THAT!
I have a new series I want to do that is urban-post apocalyptic. It involves angels too! lol I've had that one on the sidelines for awhile.

Hmmm, because we stalk follow you on Facebook, we’ve been waiting for this series. Which book of yours is your favourite from last year? We’re rather partial to Magnus ourselves, sexy, glorious hunk of manliness that he is.

The end of a series...sigh!
I do love Magnus and Ben (those are both part of my Marine romances). But my favorite...that's hard. It might be Absolution, just because it was the last book in my Seeds of Dawn series. I wrapped up the series that started my writing.

That must have been a very nice feeling. What advice would you give to aspiring authors who also want that ultra-crazy feeling of being in USA Today or, indeed, any other tabloid?

I guess the only advice I can give is to keep writing, build up that backlist. It's all about the backlist. Learned that from author Bianca D'Arc.

Will you be celebrating tonight?

I will celebrate by finishing up a story that I've been working on that I was having trouble with. lol Maybe go crazy and order a pizza. Lol

That’s the kind of celebrating we like here at Outrageous Girls, except we rather dig copious amounts of wine that leave us either pleasantly mellow or raging drunk. We wish you every success in your career and greatly look forward to your angel series. Thanks for agreeing to this interview!
