Thank you to Outrageous Girls for hosting
me today on my blog tour. I got my knickers in a twist pulling together this
post. It’s really hard to find the perfect folks to play your characters in a
movie. Due to photo restriction laws this post won’t include a bunch of wonder
pictures, but I do have links to all the actors/actresses I’ve selected.
Main Characters:
Ian – Kyle Chandler
He’s best known for his roles in Early
Edition and Friday Night Lights, but I believe he can pull off my bounty hunter
with plenty of sarcasm and a touch of seriousness. Kyle knows how to play the
dramatic side of things, too.
Sorella – Elizabeth Olsen
She’s made the big time thanks to her
rounds at the Scarlet Witch, and I think with that long hair dyed black she’s
got the chops to handle Sorella. Playing a strong female character shouldn’t be
a problem either.
Secondary Characters:
Bastille – Richard T. Jones
This man is an awesome actor, and he’s dang
good at supporting roles. He’d be perfect as first mate to Sorella. He’d also
shine in getting in the action sequences.
Bonita – Evanna Lynch
Evanna did an amazing job in Harry Potter,
but I think she has what it takes to handle a role as Sorella’s cook and maid. Plus,
she’d get to learn Italian, one of the romantic languages.
Janken – Chiwetel Ejiofor
I love this man’s acting. Did anyone see
him in Serenity? In 12 Years a Slave? His acting capabilities prove he’s
aligned to taking on challenging roles. Playing an albino jazz musician running
a prostitution and trafficking ring would be prettying difficult. This is
character is not the most likable either.
Eva – Zoe Kravitz
She’s got the stature and the chops for a
role that will require sultry and manipulative. I’m not 100% about her singing
abilities, but she’s the daughter of Lenny Kravitz and I’m pretty sure she can
rock out if needed.
That wraps my dream cast. What do you
